Help us to keep aid flowing to the right places
Imagine your family was waiting for help after a shattering disaster. What if no-one knew, and no-one came?
Since 2002 MapAction has worked in the world's most devastating disasters like the Asian tsunami and the Haiti earthquake, as well as many emergencies that never make it into the international news yet bring misery to millions of people. Our volunteers play a vital role in saving lives and helping to bring hope quickly to shattered communities.
As a volunteer-based charity we deliver a big impact for a low cost. But we need funds to equip, train and deploy our volunteers (who donate their time free of charge) when disaster strikes. We don't receive funding from the large public appeals.
Please help us to maintain this unique and vital service.
How can you help?
Regular giving: When a disaster strikes, we can’t wait for funds to come in. We need to deploy our volunteers immediately to the field, so they can start saving lives.
Regular gifts mean we’ll be ready when the call comes. Make a difference today by setting up a regular donation.
Single donation: MapAction does not benefit from large public appeals, so relies on the generosity of its supporters. You can help us save lives and minimise suffering by making a donation today.
£25 could enable us to print and distribute 100 maps that could make the difference between life and death for someone affected by a disaster.
£100 could provide a MapAction volunteer with critical scenario training, so they are prepared for the realities they may face in the field.
